FLORA - STATS MISSION STATEMENT
To measure in units and dollar volume the usage floral crops and related products in the United States by industry segments, product type, and channel of distribution.
In order to achieve the above-noted objective, the American Floral Endowment acts as a trusted agent and facilitor. Cooperation and financial support is required from industry companies and organizations to develop information and data initiatives. The EndowmentÕs FLORA-STATS program facilitates the development of statistical research efforts by initiating programs allowing industry members to join together and apply leverage to the often high cost associated. In other cases, FLORA-STATS incorporates data and information collected and shared by other industry organizations. It is with grateful appreciation that the Endowment recognizes the following for their current and/or past support of the existing FLORA-STATS programs:

FLORA-STATS currently consists of the following reports:
- The executive summary from the WF&FSA Profitability Report providing detailed results of wholesale flower distribution firms.
- number of units sold for 14 cut flower types marketed through members of the Association of Floral Importers of Florida
- a consumer floral purchases tracking study detailing why, where, how, when, what products are being bought in the United States, and by whom
The benefits of a sound statistical program must encompass certain essential characteristics or principles, including usefulness, accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality.
The Endowment takes great care and pride in abiding by these guidelines.
